Xiangyang is a prefecture-level city in north western Hubei province in the People's Republic of China. It is a new venue on the tour and the race on the Han river was delivered the first time in 2018. Only 13 out of 19 drivers managed to see the chequered flag at the end of the weekend. Blaze Performance and Atlantic Team did not see the flag as both drivers of each team dropped out before, and so did both former World Champions Alex Carella (for Viczory Team) and Sami Seliö (for Madcroc Team).Again, the three drivers of Team Abu Dhabi presented a perfect show and all three gained podium places.
